Branded Stretcher Bars

Branded Quality Stretchers are our quality range of medium duty canvas stretches. This range is most popular with artists because the bars can be framed easily. They are made of laminated pine to minimise warping, and have a 4mm lip to raise the canvas away from the bars. The bars are 18mm deep and 54mm wide. We sell them in traditional even inch sizes, starting at 8", and the maximum stock size is 84". Our stretcher bars are centre-mortised for cross-bars from 36" in length. Cross-bars also are notched for overlap from 36", so it is possible to make a '4 window' cross-bar arrangement. All bars are supplied with wooden wedges.
